Functions of the camera’s OK button:
OK button: Power On/Off, Confirm Selection, or Start/Stop Recording. — Long press to power on/off. Short press to confirm options or start/stop recording.
Functions of the camera’s Up/Down buttons:
Up button: Long press for 3 seconds to Switch Modes. DON’T release, as it will be detected as short press, resulting in move up or enabling WiFi function. Down button: Long press for 3 seconds to Switch front and rear screen. Short press-move down.
How do I switch shooting modes or set the camera?
To change the shooting mode or settings, press and hold the WiFi(Up) button for 2-3 seconds for easy switching. It takes a little more patience than the touchscreen. But after using the action camera for a while, you will get used to its operation.
The camera doesn’t stay connected to the phone APP. How can I fix this problem?
I recommend that you turn off cellular data on your phone and then connect to the camera via WiFi. This will ensure that the WiFi connection is not affected by the phone’s network and will improve the stability of the WiFi connection.
The SJ4000 action camera is inserted a micro SD card(TF card), but it still prompting “Please insert SD card”.
For the first time use, you need to format the micro SD card by using the format function in the camera. First, please check if your micro SD card has been formatted. If the problem remains, you can check if the Micro SD card is correctly inserted.
